Mix-Fix is owned and operated by Audio Engineer David McAlister, who started the
business in 1995 in response to a growing need for reasonably priced, high quality audio
and video recording and production services.  Since that time, the studio has grown,
mostly through word of mouth, to become a thriving business and one of only a few
affordable full service studios in the area.  The comfortable atmosphere at Mix-Fix makes
it a hit with bands and songwriters and the courteous and professional service keep
clients coming back with each new project.

David graduated from Middle Tennessee State University's Recording Industry
Management program in 1991 earning a Bachelor of Science degree with emphases on
recording technology and electronics.  During and since his time at MTSU, David has
been continually active in the recording studio and in the field as an audio engineer,
videographer, designer and a musician.  David's engineering credits include hundreds of
CD and DVD productions for local and regional recording artists and location sound
mixing for film and television.  

The Mix-Fix client roster includes many regional bands, performing artists, businesses
and civic organizations and is expanding daily.
